Laurie Worsley

Originally from Elizabeth City, NC, Laurie met Pogie at Louisburg College in 1972; they married in 1975.  She graduated from NC Wesleyan College with a BS in Elementary Education, and is currently a Kindergarten Teacher at Kitty Hawk Elementary School.   Laurie loves children; she and Pogie spend a lot of time with their nephew, Will, who will be 4 in January (2001).  Kally and Buster, their chocolate labs, are her special “babies”.  Her hobbies include interior decorating and Winston Cup racing.

Laurie takes an active interest in Carl Worsley Company.  She picks the color schemes for the houses we build for sale, and makes a point to critique every house at the end of construction.
