 Carl Worsley has been building homes for more than 20 years, starting Carl Worsley Company on the Outer Banks in 1987.  “Pogie” is active in our community, and has served as past President of the Home Builders Association and past Regional Vice President for the N.C. State Home Builders Association.   He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and Outer Banks Association of Realtors.  He actively participates with the Home Builders and the Association of Realtors to stay in tune with code and zoning changes on the Outer Banks.  The company enters a house in the Parade of Homes every year.

 Pogie is originally from Rocky Mount, NC.  He served in the Coast Guard from 1973 – 1977, stationed on the Outer Banks, and likes talking to “Coasties”.  He and his wife, Laurie, are avid Winston Cup race fans, and frequently travel to the races on weekends.  The Daytona 500 is one of his favorites.

 Pogie’s main objective is to provide a quality affordable product on time, with no overbudget surprises at settlement.  “We want satisfied customers, and we work hard at it.”
